Cytometa Cloud v26.10
Released October 1, 2026.
With this release, sensors send one clean value per minute, and every date shows in the workspace’s time zone. Devices the router finds on the network show up on the dashboard. Maintenance mode now pauses alarms, and FlowControl locations get the right flow tags and cycle times.
NewDevices found on your network
Section titled “Devices found on your network”What changed. When a router finds a device on the local network that no device record matches, the dashboard says so. Review devices lists each one with its MAC address, IP address and router. You can create a device record from it, link it to an existing record, or mark it as not an instrument. Before, you had to know the MAC address and type it in.
You can no longer change the MAC address of a device that is online. Set it to Disabled first. This prevents an instrument that is sending data from being unlinked by mistake.
Who it is for. Managers and Admins who add instruments or replace their network cards.

ImprovedOne filtered value per minute from sensors
Section titled “One filtered value per minute from sensors”What changed. The router now reads the FlowControl, Sigrist Sicon, Sigrist AquaScat, s::can con::line and ATi Metrinet every 2 seconds and sends one value per metric per minute: the average of that minute’s readings, without spikes and measurement errors. Before, each reading was sent as it was: every 5 seconds from a FlowControl, and at the poll interval set for the other instruments.
A minute with fewer than 15 good readings, for example after the router or the instrument restarts, is marked as uncertain and left out of alarms and charts over 6 hours. The Bactosense is unchanged.
After a FlowControl switches to another flow, the sensors still measure the old water for a while. Set how long that takes as the FlowControl’s Settle time: the values from that time after a switch are also marked as uncertain, for all these instruments behind the same router. It is off (0) until you set it.
The change takes effect when the router’s firmware is updated. The Poll interval setting is gone from the Sicon, AquaScat, Metrinet and con::line. The Metrinet and the con::line have no other settings, so their Configuration tab is gone too.
Who it is for. Everyone who follows the values of these instruments.

ImprovedAll dates in the workspace’s time zone
Section titled “All dates in the workspace’s time zone”What changed. Charts, sample lists, alarm history, notifications, notification emails, the device page, the FlowControl cycle pattern, the period picker and exports now show dates in the workspace’s time zone, not your browser’s. A sample taken at 06:00 at the plant reads 06:00 for an operator on site and for a service provider abroad. The period picker on Metrics and Flow Cytometry names the zone at the bottom. When your browser is in another time zone, a notification adds the zone’s abbreviation, for example 14:00 CEST.
Before, the app used your browser’s time zone and notification emails used the Netherlands’ time.
The time zone is a new setting. Organization administrators set it for the organization under Settings › General, and can give a workspace its own under Workspaces. Existing organizations use Europe/Amsterdam.
Who it is for. Everyone, and most of all organizations with sites or people in more than one time zone.

FixedMaintenance mode and Disabled pause alarms and notifications
Section titled “Maintenance mode and Disabled pause alarms and notifications”What changed. A device in Maintenance mode or Disabled now pauses the alarms on its series and all its notifications. An alarm that was alerting stays alerting until the device is Active again. After that, an alarm whose conditions are still met goes off as usual. Nothing is sent afterwards for the paused period. Before, both states only changed the device’s status.
Who it is for. Everyone who puts devices in Maintenance mode during service visits or disables devices that are out of use.

FixedFlow tags on Bactosense samples
Section titled “Flow tags on Bactosense samples”What changed. A Bactosense sample now gets the tag of the flow that was running when it was measured, also when the FlowControl schedule has steps of 4 hours or longer. Before, such samples were filed under the location’s tag. After a router restart, samples measured up to 48 hours earlier also get their flow’s tag.
The fix takes effect when the router’s firmware is updated. Samples that were already filed under the location’s tag stay there.
Who it is for. Locations where a FlowControl switches the flows for a Bactosense.

FixedFlowControl cycle times and configuration
Section titled “FlowControl cycle times and configuration”What changed. The Cycle pattern on a FlowControl’s device page now counts the steps from midnight UTC, as the FlowControl does, and shows the start times in the workspace’s time zone. Before, it counted from your local midnight, so in the Netherlands the times were one or two hours off.
Saving the configuration now says why it failed: another FlowControl at the same location or behind the same router already has flow switching enabled, or a flow’s tag is not a valid tag name. Only one FlowControl per router can have flow switching enabled. Closing the edit dialog with unsaved changes, or leaving the FlowControl Configuration tab, now asks before dropping them.
Who it is for. Everyone who uses a FlowControl.
